My Friends, the “Experience of a Lifetime” must be put on Pause. My Brother passed away a few weeks ago & I need to return to handle his Estate. It is December 5th 2017 – I started this new lifestyle on May 5th 2017 & I hope to head back out on April 5th 2018.
I want everyone to know how humbled I am with all the support, love, and encouragement you have shown me. I have Experienced more than I ever could have imagined, and I have really only begun. I have been in 18 countries and 80 Cities so far, WOW hard to believe. I am currently in Morocco and after matters are handled, I plan on starting back up, right here, literally just a time pause…
I have met so many wonderful people from all over the world and the borders are crumbling. Knowing a culture is the way to learn about life and what truly matters. We understand that everyone is really all the same and we can laugh, share a meal and tell a story just the same as anywhere. This ONE Life we each have is meant to be shared and lived to the fullest, do not waste the gift.
This trip is for me, but I enjoy sharing my stories and images. I know I’m not a great writer, but I love telling stores (yea, I hear all of you laughing at that one – shocker, I know) so I hope there are some bits of vision in my words and even some worthwhile Travel-Tips on Long Term Travel & specifics on the Villages I Experience. Photography on the other hand, has always been in my life. My Grandfather was an avid photographer and my brother gave me my first camera (a Hawkeye Brownie Flash Model, which I still have in storage) when I was six years old. For the first time, I can really share my eye & my images. Again thank you for all the support and words of wonder. I craft my photos and want the viewer to Experience the moment also – which is part of the reason I take the extra time to give a description of each image. Plus, it will remind me of what I Experienced 10 years from now. My own personal journal. I am way behind on uploading those, so you will still see my images posted as I get them processed (I share @100 moments per Location but shoot around 400+).
Stopping one life and starting another is a scary difficult thing. There were challenges to work through but that is in the past and I now only live in the moment. I love the freedom of no plans, no agenda, and no commitment – only flow, it is a very sexy thing… With that freedom also comes opportunity. I have routed my trip to meet up with friends traveling nearby or even planning to travel with me (hint hint – I hope to show you my world, come travel with me). That is the best. While I travel by myself, I am not alone – ever, even if it is with you my dear friends, in my heart and mind. So again – I say thank you. I hope we can love, share a drink, tell a tale and hug to release – maybe someplace exotic or in your backyard, how wonderful would that be!!
NAMASTE…
